Tamworth

Tamworth, home to its Norman castle, has an old town centre but a huge amount of its housing dates from the 1960s and 70s, when the town expanded rapidly as an overspill area for Birmingham. That means a real mix of roof ages and styles — some genuinely historic, plenty of standard postwar construction — and spray foam turns up across both, usually as a later add-on rather than anything original to the build.

Local Knowledge That Saves You Time

Because Tamworth's housing spans such different eras, we don't assume what we'll find in any given loft — a 1970s estate roof and a historic town-centre property need different approaches, and we survey each on its own merits.

What We Do in Tamworth

Our own crews handle the full job: safe removal of open and closed cell spray foam, restoring proper roof ventilation, and re-insulating with breathable methods that suit the property. We also fit fresh loft insulation, cavity and internal wall insulation, and underfloor work where heat is escaping. Every removal is finished with a certificate, photos and the mortgage-compliant documentation surveyors ask for.
